1.1 USER PROFILE

When creating a user profile in the Services and confirming ownership of a specific number, TDS will collect the information provided by the User. To create a user profile, Users must register their first name, last name, and phone number. Additional optional information may include a photo, gender, street address, zip code, country of residence, email address, professional website, Facebook page, Twitter address, and a short status message. TDS may supplement the provided information with data from third parties, e.g., demographic information and additional contact information publicly available.

1.2 INSTALLATION AND USE

Upon installing and using the Services, TDS will collect personal information from Users and their devices used in interactions. This may include geo-location, IP address, device ID, device manufacturer, device type, device settings, SIM card usage, installed applications, ID for advertising, ad data, operating system, web browser, operator, IMSI, connection information, screen resolution, usage statistics, default communication applications, access to device address book, device log and event information, logs, keywords and meta data of incoming and outgoing calls and messages, Services version in use, and other information based on interaction with the Services. Some information, like usage information, may not identify Users and will not constitute personal information.

1.3 THIRD PARTY SERVICES

Users may provide user identifier information related to or enabling usage of certain third-party services to facilitate interoperability with the Services. TDS may collect, store, and use identifiers associated with these third-party services to enhance results shared with other Users.

1.4 CONTACT INFORMATION

For TDS Customer Connect App obtained from sources other than Apple App Store or Google Play, Users may share names, numbers, Google IDs, and email addresses from their address book ("Contact Information") with TDS by enabling the Enhanced Search Functionality. TDS Customer Connect App from Apple App Store or Google Play does not share user Contact Information. In addition to Contact Information, when activating the use of a third-party service within the Services, TDS may collect, store, and use identifiers linked to the Contact Information for improved results shared with other Users.

1.5 OTHER INFORMATION YOU MAY PROVIDE

Users may provide various information related to their interaction with the Services, including associating a phone number with a business or name, reporting a phone number as spam, or participating in contests, surveys, or promotions. TDS will collect the provided information and other data communicated or interacted with.

2. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

2.1 PROVIDE, IMPROVE, AND PERSONALIZE OUR SERVICES

TDS may use collected personal information to provide, maintain, improve, analyze, and personalize the Services for Users. Specific uses include smart caller ID, dialer, and messaging functionality; displaying numbers associated with names; facilitating communication between Users; maintaining spam lists and spam blocking directories; enabling use and sharing of information with third-party services; and overall improvement of Services, business, and operations.

2.2 STATISTICAL DATA FROM THE SERVICES

Aggregated or anonymized personal information may be used for statistical and analytical purposes, and TDS may share such data with third parties. Personal information that has been anonymized or aggregated is not considered personal information for the purposes of this Policy.

Users can disable the Enhanced Search Functionality to delist their Contact Information from the TDS database. Those not wishing to have their names and phone numbers available through Enhanced Search or Name Search functionalities can exclude themselves from further queries by notifying TDS through the website at www.tdsgroupindia.com or via contact details provided below.

Users can limit or opt-out of information collection for ad targeting by third parties through device settings.

5. INFORMATION SECURITY AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OTHER COUNTRIES

To provide Services, TDS will transfer, process, and store personal information in various countries, including India, and may use cloud-based services. TDS may subcontract storage or processing of information to third parties in countries different from the User's home country. By using the Services, Users acknowledge and agree to such transfer of personal information, and TDS takes reasonable precautions to protect information from misuse, loss, and unauthorized access.

TDS may replenish, rectify, or erase incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated personal information at its own initiative or upon User request.
